December Thoughts
I'm thrilled about the upcoming holiday season—it has always been a joyous time. I cherish the opportunity to share love, friendship, and joy. This year, I decided to get a head start on my holiday shopping and spent some time at my favorite holiday planning stores.
While I had a few essential items on my list, I was taken aback by the abundance of excessive products and unnecessary things cluttering the shelves. Feeling confused and overwhelmed, I left without making any purchases. Initially, I thought I had wasted a day driving around, only to return home empty-handed. However, upon reflection, I realized that my trip had set the tone for the holiday I wanted to share with friends and family.
Recently, I've overheard numerous conversations about decluttering closets and drawers and clearing out physical items and emotional baggage to create more space. Inspired by these discussions, I, too, have spent time cleaning and clearing, finding satisfaction in letting go of possessions and emotions I no longer need to carry.
As I walked through the stores, the life cycle of the items I had considered purchasing flashed before my eyes—ultimately ending up in recycling or donation bins. It struck me that memories of events, experiences, and healthy activities never take up space or require decluttering.
This holiday season, I've resolved to be a consumer and giver of events and experiences that benefit those in my life and community, fostering positive and lasting memories.
I am immensely grateful that you have chosen to invest your time, energy, and resources in MBDY + be. The support you've provided to our community and space is the reason we're still here. Thank you for making MBDY + be a part of your journey towards health and balance. Your willingness to share our studio with your friends and family has contributed to the growth of our space.
Happy Holidays!
With Gratitude,
Elease
