December Thoughts

This holiday season, there has been much talk of supply chain issues, financial changes, and climate impacts of consumerism. Is it possible that this is the universe telling us to look to less tangible gifts in our lives and cherish them more? Should we experience more and consume less?

Every day I am reminded to appreciate the present moment and the community surrounding me. As cliche as it may sound, the experiences of daily life we choose to live, are gifts to be cherished. For example, meeting friends for a class, laughing over a cup of coffee or glass of something, an unexpected text from a friend, or the revelation that we are experiencing life in similar yet different ways.

The world is changing, and these moments are becoming more and more important. They stand in for motivation when it may not be present. They increase our ability to see the beauty that surrounds us and remind us to appreciate those who remain by our sides and provide support when they may not have much of it to give. These are the gifts I cherish.

I hope you will join me in recognizing and cherishing the gifts of friendships, experiences, and the opportunity that each day offers.

Thank you for the support, friendship, inspiration, and motivation you gift me every day.

With Gratitude,

Elease and the MBDY + be Team
