Tap Beats, created by Samara Goldberg, is a high-energy class that blends soft shoe, classical, rhythmic, and musical theater dance to current music and a fun cardio sweat!
We will begin with a cardio-based warm-up by learning basic tap movements and working on rhythm to keep the heart rate up. This tap class encompasses across-the-floor movements, where you will be able to focus and hear your individual taps and sounds while building on learning more complex choreography. We will then use those movements weβve learned to put together a fun, dynamic, and rhythmic dance piece.
Tap Beats will be taken step by step with plenty of opportunities for learning, laughter, and fun!
