We have an opportunity to give back to our community through service. Join us as we pack much-needed food boxes for our North County Community.

Social imbalances are more acute than ever, and there are many who need help to provide for themselves and their families, to have enough food, and to access other essential resources. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, one in five people in San Diego County were food insecure. Now, one in three San Diegans experience food insecurity, which means they are unable to provide three nutritious meals per day for themselves or their families. Almost 40% of children in San Diego are food insecure.

Launched in April 2020, +BOX (PlusBox) fights food insecurity by delivering reliable access to healthy food to our food-insecure neighbors. We do that by working alongside school districts to distribute boxes of fresh, healthy, nutrient-rich foods to students and their families. 

We understand it may not fit your schedule to join us in packing but there are many ways you can contribute.
