October Thoughts

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time that holds different meanings for different people. For some, it serves as a reminder of a disease that has forever changed their lives or the lives of their loved ones. For others, it's an opportunity to show support for the more than 2 million women worldwide who are diagnosed with breast cancer each year.

Understanding the range of emotions this can bring, we want to support our community with empathy and love without creating unnecessary stress or pressure. We want to “think before we pink.”

Breast health has been a significant topic of discussion in our studio recently. We have openly talked about and supported those in our community who have experienced invasive testing, the anxiety of waiting for results, and the need for medical intervention more often than we'd like. To further this support, I'm participating in the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Walk in San Diego on November 3rd and raising funds for the cause. In addition, all proceeds from class attendance on October 27th will be donated to the same charity.

Now, more than ever, awareness, education, and action are needed. Let's come together to make a difference. Whether through participation, donation, or spreading the word, every effort brings us one step closer to a cure. Please join me in this important cause and help change lives.

With Gratitude,
Elease
