February Thoughts

We think of February as the month of LOVE. With Valentine's Day smack in the middle of it, it is the focus. Good, bad or otherwise, and regardless of where we stand in course of life, we can not escape the prompts and reminders.

Although romantic love is the primary monetary driver of this month, there is much more to the act of love than just romance. Love is kindness, acceptance, and a release of control of the outcome. It is the answer to most suffering (any source of profound dissatisfaction).

If love is the answer, then what is the question?

If love was allowed to be the answer without qualifiers or conditions, the best outcome of any situation would be achieved, and the question would lose its importance. What if we met every situation, challenge, and circumstance with LOVE? Beginning with ourselves.

The question and the answer are both discoverable. If you are looking to expand your understanding of love, How to Love by Thich Nhat Hanh is a complete guide. It brings awareness and real-world tools as to how we might bring the principle of love into our lives so that it may be the answer to every question.

It’s time to LOVE.

With love and gratitude,
Elease
