08/24 Updates

The Outdoor Pavillion is ON!

Welcome back ladies,

Although we are not completely open, or back to how things used to Be, we are doing our best to bring us back to our deep connection and creating space for our community magic to happen offline, even if just in small pieces. Any ideas are welcome so please don't hesitate to reach out to me via elease@bemovedanceconnect.com

Taking a class with us? Here is what you need to know:
    1. Please Arrive 10min before class and park in the parking lot in front of the studio.

    2. We are using the Be Studio for check in, temperature check and bathroom use

    3. You may leave belonging in the studio in the cubbies as the studio will be monitored by Be. staff while class in session.

    4. Choose equipment for class based on instructor recommendation and exit through the back door and follow the signs to the outdoor pavilion.

Counting down to the minute until I get to move and connect with you all again.

With gratitude,

07/13 Updates

Due to the latest guidance by government officials, we are re-closing the doors to our Encinitas studio for the time being.

For the safety of our community, we are cancelling ALL in-studio classes effective Tuesday, July 14.

While we are deeply saddened to close our doors, we know that we will continue find connection, movement and dance in new ways.

Our Be. Online Studio remains open and updated with new classes added each week!

We are now refocusing our efforts to livestream classes, online workshops and other ways to connect. Announcements coming soon.

Sending you so much love.

06/20 Updates

Dear Be. Community,

The day has finally come where we can announce the re-opening plans for our Encinitas Studio! We are filled with unbelievable gratitude for the support and love from all of you these past few months. We are also over the moon with excitement! On July 1 we will be officially re-opening our doors to the public. We hope to also be able to offer open-air workout classes starting July 15 at local parks and beaches (more details on this coming soon!).

While we hope that you will feel comfortable to re-join us in-studio, we understand that safety is a huge concern. As always our #1 priority is your health and well-being which is why we have incorporated the following practices to keep our space (and you!) as safe as possible:

  • UVA, B, and C lights in our HVAC unit.
  • Bathrooms will be cleaned 4x/daily between each class.
  • Entire studio will be wiped down between every class and every night. Will be deep cleaned 1x/week.
  • Class capacity will be capped at 7 members per class to maintain a safe distance. Classes that require more floor space may be capped at 5.
  • Limited class schedule to allow for cleaning and disinfecting.
  • Towel service and essential oil cleaner will be discontinued. Germicide gym wipes will be provided for cleaning.
  • Class specific color-coded marks on floor + barres to signify 6ft distance between each member.
  • One way entrance and exit.
  • Lobby will be closed to gathering. Seating and merchandise will be removed. Client will queue outside while maintaining 6ft distance and will enter the studio 10 minutes before class begins.
  • Temperature and wellness checks of all persons entering the studio (including staff).
  • Face covering required to enter the studio. Up to personal discretion to use while exercising or not.
  • No contact registration, check-in and purchases.
  • No public water station. Bottled water will be available for purchase.
  • Staff will provide and place all mats, props, and cleaning wipes to clients directly. Staff will also cover the barres with a disposable protective barrier for each class.
  • Staff will clean and remove mats and props to outside area to be aired out and cleaned per CDC recommendation. Mats and props will be rotated between each class to ensure proper sanitation.

Be. will still be providing the necessary class equipment. However, if you would like to bring your own mat/weights to class, please feel free. Upon arrival simply notify the instructor so they can remove the Be. equipment out of your space.

03/15 Updates

To our caring community,

Thank you so much for your continued support both in the studio and online during this past week as we implemented new protocols in response to COVID-19. Your patience and support showed just how strong this community truly is and for that, we are so grateful.

As always, your health and well-being are our greatest priorities. Due to recent events and the increase of COVID-19 cases on the West Coast, we have opted to pursue prevention, not panic, as our main course of response. With this in mind, we have decided to close the doors of our studio for the next two weeks. We are closely monitoring the current status of risk and this closure is subject to change.

While COVID-19 may have temporarily closed our doors, it has in no way closed our hearts or our community! We need each other and healing movement more than ever in these times of stress. As a result, we hope that you will continue to stay active and involved in both ourFacebook group and ourInstagram page to receive studio updates and the nourishing sense of sisterhood that we all share.

We will be in touch with you all regarding our re-opening and opportunities to move and connect together virtually.

Talk to you soon,

Elease and the team at Be
